My friend has a problem with his laptop
when he power on the laptop the laptop will not start
but the light keeps On
and nothing will show up
Any help? Big Grin

Do all of the lights turn on?
Does it sound like it is working? (besides the screen)

So it's a problem with the inverter? That's the thing that powers and controls to back light. Check that out first.

No noise from the Laptop, so power issue? But that doesn't explain the lights, so problem with the CPU?
