apache server help

hey guys i need to host a website on my local machine for a school project. im using a dell inspiron with windows xp. when i went to download apache there all these differnt kinds and i wasnt sure which one to get... if anyone could point me into the right driection i would apreciate it

Thats what your after. Now this is only apache. Nothing more. No php and no sql.

XAMPP will need to be modified to make it secure, it was made for a development environment..not for production.
