Anyone having issues with BitTorrent down speeds?

EDIT* Ok, looks like U-Verse is bottling BitTorrent peers. Will have to portforward.

My down speed is fluctuating between 10 and 170 KBPS. I have 12 MB down on my plan and should be averaging 1 MB but as of now I'm at 60 KBPS. I've tried multiple torrents to no avail.

Anyone else having this issue? And I did speedtest my connection, it is perfectly fine.

I realize that but it's not them seeing I just looked and I was at 1 MB before it dropped back down. We have a private site with dedicated seeders. I just grabbed another torrent to see if it's doing the same thing.

After a little research I found that I'm not the only one with this issue as seen here.

It was fine 2 days ago, I supposed it is my router's firewall.

....Or I could have saturated my peer list. But I only have 25 peers, I've had way more in the past across multiple torrents. I don't have a clue what's going on, I just want the god damn down speed I'm paying for.

I get max speeds once the connections are setup, yourl find having a limit on peers and so on can increase speeds, theres an online calc

It's working fine for me. Maybe the seeders have a slow internet connection.

Scalise, I'm going to try downloading something from there now to see if I have the same problem or if it's just you.

yea mines not amazing either, on average i get a film in about 30 mins if its got plenty of seeds which isnt great
