I've got a Toshiba Tecra M7 laptop, and when I press certain keys it acts like multiple keys are being pressed. For instance, when the E key is pressed, the 3 key is "pressed" as well (so the outcome is 3e, no matter if I press 3 or E). I've tried blowing out the keyboard, and even removing it and cleaning the contacts. Should I order a replacement keyboard, or could there be something else wrong?

Try reinstalling any drivers you have for it.

Is any other key malfunctioning? If not, I would lean towards a replacement keyboard.

Looks like it indeed is a hardware error. How long have you had this laptop?

About a year. I suspected the keyboard itself until I read about someone having the same issue. The replaced the keyboard and it didn't solve the problem. I'm just trying to figure out what else it could be before investing $29 in a replacement keyboard.
