This is a little manipulation of my school.
They say dreams may come true, lets hope so.

The overall work is amazing....
However, the waves are too small for their look, looks like a 30 feet wave...
The clouds stand out too much, it looks like they are right above the school.
The thunder is awesome done, I would like to see your technique and the rain came out well.
Damages on the buildings need more work, not on this one but in the future ;)

Keep up with this and you'll be manipulating photos into something beautiful...

The waves and clouds are there for the dramatic look. Since it's more of a fictional scene I think I can get away with it...
Thunder is just a brush with a little outer glow, nothing fancy.

And yeah, the damage would need some work. This would have been something small to impress my friends, but it was fun to do, and turned out rather well. Though I didn't feel like putting too much effort in it, since completing the realistic look of the damage is rather easy, but very boring and repetitive work.

You really got the dramatic look, so I'll say, wonderful.
I totally like what you did with the letter "d", though on first look it does seem like an "p".
The fact that the original image had a bit sun and shadows, made it probably harder to get this type of darkness, but again you did a really good job...

Do you plan to go into this direction later, or was this just for experience?

I do some manipulations every now and then. Probably will do stuff like this more often, since it's just fun to do.
Usually I do allot of design, (Web, GUI, Buttons) which is cool, but can get really shallow and boring too. So switching it up a bit every now and then is refreshing.
