What firmware are you restoring to? Also, are you using a custom IPSW?

Nothing customized. I am attempting to use firmware 2.0.1, received error 1011. Attempted to use 2.1, received error 1011. Attempting 2.2 right now. Thats it. Nothing more than 2.0 or less.

EDIT 2.2 failed too.

EIDT x2:

2.0.1 <<<+fail
2.1 < +fail
2.2 = <<<+ fail
2.2.1 <<< +fails

1. Go to the following website:
2. Under the iPhone / iPod touch / iPad / Apple TV drop down, select iPhone (3.1.2/7D11) and save it to your desktop.

3. When it has finished downloading, plug in your iPhone. Where it says restore, do the following:
  • Hold Shift and click Restore.
4. Navigate and select the firmware you downloaded on your desktop.

5. Click OK and see if it restores accordingly.

If this works, I am giving rep my brotha! Let me see if 2.0.1 is going to work.

What's the current state of your phone? Did you follow the steps I gave you in IRC correctly?

Have you Restored the Phone using a Firmware Downloaded from iTunes? Or have you Downloaded a FW off FB's and Restored?

Might want to try that Smile

Yes I have followed all the instructions you told me to follow. Nothings worked! Right now it says it wants me to connect to itunes.

You guys, I have tried everything. Right now its in Recovery mode with an itunes and USB cable showing.

It won't restore no matter how many times I try with all the 2.x firmwares and 3.x firmwares. I get errors 23, 1000, 1016, 1011 and a few more. I have tried third party applications such as iREB and a few others, nothings worked. Please help me out here.
