but I suggest you read up on some tutorials HERE.

What software did you use?

If you're in photoshop, I suggest creating another layer for your spirals so they don't abruptly end and appear to encase the subject.

Also, try grabbing some text packs from dafont.com, and add some variety to your work.

They do scream amateur. I'm no Photoshop expert, but I have made some good signatures by following tutorials, there are a lot of them out there, you should take a look at them.

To be honest, you do overuse the same technique of that spiral. But they look pretty good.
