[Poem] The Road

[BlackChaos]

As I walk down this road by myself,
I imagine someone else walking side by side.
Someone who knows what I'm going through,
Who can help me reach the end of this arduous journey.
But he turns the other way, different direction and goal,
and I'm left feeling lost, cold and alone.
So I just keep on walking, head down, past everybody,
A shadow among the darkness,
Disguised by thoughts and actions
Of people trying to influence the journey ahead,
But my mind is set steady,
My heart and soul determined,
I'm passing past the passages between each memory,
Digging for new resolve,
Fighting till my last breath,
I won't give up till my all is set in stone once again.

I feel as if this could be about a friend and you who might of chosen different paths in life maybe one good one bad and maybe you're struggling to not follow those same foot steps. Idk just my assumption.
