You've probably played them, and haven't realized whether they were DOS games Tongue

Some of the DOS RPG games are harder than FinalFantasy Tongue
I remember playing one in which you play as a drunk dragon.
Ah, good times =)

Final Fantasy isn't that difficult, and i'm a FF addict almost. I've played quite a few of them. They usually have a good storyline, but lately they have been going downhill. The highlight of their game creation was in and around FFVII-FFX (7-10). Ever since they've been becoming more 18th century medieval style, i've been less interested. They went from a true "Fantasy" theme with all of the magic and sorcery to less of that style in my opinion. It's been more on swords and steel in the newer series. FFVII was my favorite, where it was almost all based on the power of materia.

I wish I had played more Final Fantasy. I really love games like that, but when I tried some of the new ones, it didn't really appeal to me.
Which is the best FF to start out with?

If you can get a hold of a PS1 console, or a PS1 emulatore (ePSXe is free and takes up barely any computer memory and cpu). I'd recommend FFVII. It will help you understand the plot of a few following FF games, and also give you a better sense of how they try to create Final Fantasy games in general. FFVII is like the mother of releases in the series as far as i'm concerned, even though it's long past, it was the best constructed, and you'll really like the plot. Amazing characters, and it's one of the most exciting i've played as well. FFX-FFXII got really boring in some parts with long waits. There's only a few long parts in VII, but it's worth playing.

Second favorite of mine would be FFVIII.

I still have my old PS1 in pristine condition just for games of that era . Sometimes , when I get bored of playing COD or CS . PS1 to the rescue .
I hate sex in the movies. Tried it once, the seat folded up, the drink spilled and that ice,
well it really chilled her mood.
