I am wondering what type of websites would you say make the most money?
eCommerce sites selling tangible goods
blogs
forums
directories
dating sites
proxies
sites offering tools
etc...

I would say Forums and Dating Sites.

I'd say it all comes down to which has the most traffic. That being the case, I'd say forums with ads all over the place and donations.

Forums don't make close to the most money compared to other websites. They can make a lot depending on the setup, but usually other things come into play. The only thing I could think of is offering a service via your website like programming or an "adult" cam website. It's early, though.

I cant really answer this, But honestly I would love to know the answer to this. As I have been working on multiple sites of my own trying to make some money. I have not had much luck yet. But have made some money.

Anything selling some type of service, or some type of software makes the most money, it doesn't need that much traffic to make as much money as a forum, that gets 20x's its traffic.

I think dating sites may make the most. Depends on how much traffic it gets also.
