They're all great games, but only if you like tactical games. This isn't a run and gun kill 'em all, don't even bother with a K/D. You play to win.

It's a lot more skillful, and takes planning to be successful. It's not really a game where you can go in and screw around. I mean, you could go around zapping people with a defibrillator but it gets boring after some time. The vehicles are neat though

The only resemblance in gameplay is that they're both FPS. I hate CoD and love this game.

I'm an avid Battlefield gamer played every BF game ever released on PC!
What I'm about to say only counts if you're a person that likes to keep thinking while playing a game, and not just go in guns blazing and expecting to get a 30/1 kill streak.

If you're one of those *newbies* then go ahead play COD, the other people that aren't zombies sitting behind their PC should firstly watch this:

It gives a very good resemblance of the Battlefield gameplay.

It provides balanced and team-based gameplay, unlike a lot of other FPS games, that's why Battlefield is called a war simulator.

Is battlefield good or bad? It's very good!

Will Battlefield 3 be good? No it'll be AMAZING!! It'll be way better then Bad company 2! It's expected to go back to Battlefield's roots, and won't be a cheap console port. It'll actually utilize your PC's capabilities!

How you guys feel about older battlefields?
I never liked 2142, but Battlefield 2 was realistic at the time.

I dont like any other war games besides COD and BF, so their kind of special to me.

Hmm... 2142 is my favorite BF, because I love futuristic games. And I'm ginda a sci-fy fan in everything xD
But I understand people that don't like it, it is a special game. And kinda broke with BF tradition. I do like BF2 a lot too! Along with Vietnam.

Actually why don't they do a cold war game after BF3?
There aren't a lot of those!

Are there any people around here that still remember playing Battlefield 1942 along with Secret weapons of WWII, it's expansion?
I soo love that game, I actually always reinstalled it when I got a new PC, and I still play it nowadays! (It's a great Laptop game to!)
