How successful are .info domains?

i peronally know place where to buy them for 1$ per year

and i dont know any popular site with info domain.. Just saying

webhosting.info is kinda well-known.
Although most successful site with .info upgrades to .net/.com

True. I recently bought one .tv domain and i actually like it. Even tho it costed like 25$ and you cant have domain privacy on it

I made $1,000 with my .info domain but I should have used a .com domain.

It all depends on the use. For forums: not so much because there is a .com domain with the same name
for selling: usually if your product is good it doesn't matter.

.info is cheap and good for a budget site, i have 2 only because they are around 1$.

In my opinion, less. .coms will always be No. 1 in domains.
