I would scan with "Malwarebytes Anit-Malware" after you do this.

Usually MBAM detects the Key in Registry and the .EXE where its located.

OP: You may want to add this to your tutorial:

Open the value of the registry key before you delete it, and run the path not the application, locate the application and delete the executable file.

No, it will not be gone. It will only be 'deactivated'. To fully cleanse yourself from the infection, you may either apply manual removal, or follow the hierarchy in removing such files.

If you delete it from the registry yes. Quintus already explained that, if you read his post. The virus will just become "deactivated" instead.
