What forum software do you use?
Little more information would be nice. In most forums when you post as admin you have the option to make a sticky/announcement right below the post textbox

You can choose to sticky it from the moderation options at the bottom of a thread, or, to do it from the forum display, tick the box next to the thread and choose to sticky it from the options at the bottom of the page.

Sticky can be done by clicking the Moderator Option: Stick Thread. When posting a thread as administrator under the textbox you have the moderator options and there you will find a option to stick the thread. edit: OK I just saw you got it..... |
