Wow, that's a lot more threads now in your post. It's starting to look like a decent sticky to me.
You could add my thread for a useful windows shell extension I have a few others i'm sure as well. But I haven't taken the time to look through all the ones you've compiled into your post yet. http://www.supportforums.net/showthread....#pid182099 I also have a tutorial for shrinking a hard drive volume in my list of threads.

No problem. Otherwise, here's pretty much the full list of my computer threads that i've done so far. You have a big list, so there might be others.
How to shrink a hard drive volume [Tutorial]: http://www.supportforums.net/showthread.php?tid=16845 Windows Keyboard Shortcuts [Full Guide]: http://www.supportforums.net/showthread.php?tid=17175 Quick Computer Information site: (Not sure if it would be useful) http://www.supportforums.net/showthread.php?tid=15999 [Video Tutorial] How to add Cmd Prompt to Context Menu (Right-Click): (You can use Shift + right click to do the same thing, this will just add it to the normal right click context menu so that you don't have to hold down shift) http://www.supportforums.net/showthread.php?tid=13225 (03-28-2011, 08:53 PM)Infinity Wrote: No problem. I looked through all your threads earlier for tutorials but missed two of those, lol. I added the ones I was missing.

Either way, the list is huge. I had no idea that we had this many tutorials/guides and informational threads we had on SupportForums until it's put into perspective like the list in your first post lol. I would nominate this thread for a sticky. You've done a lot of work to compile this into one place.
Sure there will always be newer threads, but it can get updated later on, and most of the really important ones have already been covered by members on SF. Guides on how to build a custom computer and such are fairly important information. There's a lot of valuable knowledge in the list already.

I omitted the guides that weren't properly cited if it wasn't original work, guides with dead pictures, and guides that weren't very descriptive. Hopefully it does get stickied. I need to start making more tutorials

I would start making a few more detailed ones as well, but i've been running out of ideas for the most valuable tutorials or guides to create. When I come across an idea I usually add it on my list of to do's for later... The Windows key shortcuts was sort of a last minute idea, but people may find it useful if they want to start making their computer functions faster by using keystrokes instead.

Yea, I never really know what to create either. Usually if I think of an idea it's just something small that isn't very important. I'll probably just be creating those for awhile, while editing my computer parts guide. |
