Post Bug

I'm not sure whether the post was junked, deleted, etc., but the following post does not show up:

It says that the last post was by Hitachi, but nothing shows. When clicking the post link, it is just re-directed to my thread.

I don't understand the conflict that you're trying to describe here, but i've never had this happen before. You didn't make it clear enough to understand for others.

You say the post doesn't show up but it goes to your thread. Where does it say last post was by Hitachi? :S (In your UserCP?)

Basically, it says that Hitachi posted in my thread, but it doesn't show. But if you go through his posts, it says he posted:

"nice tutorial. could be quite useful ".

It says that the last post was by Hitachi in my UserCP, as well as in the Video Gaming section where it shoes my thread.

Ahh, I see it now in his posts, today at 1:47pm on my board time. It says he posted:

But it just gets directed to the first post in your thread. His post probably got deleted somehow.

No, not really, things get left behind in the database. Kind of like the way internet caching works.

This has been happening quite frequently on MyBB sites, would be nice for a fix.

I know what you mean, I have seen the glitch before on other MyBB sites.

It is a known problem. The "missing post" appears after a delay, like now.

It seems to have showed up now. I've seen this happen after deleting a few spam posts as well on another forum

Unknown glitch. Can't be fixed because we can't repeat it. It just happens. I feel it's related to cache or sessions.
