Oh hell yes.
Google is the greatest thing since sliced bread.
Sadly, I still have computer problems that google can't answer.

It depends. If it's a small issue, alright, Google will probably find the answer for me in seconds as opposed to asking around, posting a useless post, and being lazy. But if it's a long one, it's better to actually ask around and have an ongoing discussion about.
For example, if you don't know what some internet slang word means you'll search it up.
If you have a difficult college level math question that makes no sense to you, you'll ask around instead of merely googling it with no avail. (and that's if you're REALLY not paying attention / not understanding the lessons)
If the sky is the limit, then I'll build a bridge up to it. If I make it back, I'd still want more, more. - Craig Owens

Google is very useful, and I always try to find out an answer on Google before asking.
At the moment though I've been doing some pretty complex special effects stuff at college, and I didn't find much help on Google, so it was easier for me to just ask one of my tutors.
As for Support Forums, I don't often ask many questions, I'm usually the one answering them.
But when I do ask something, it will only be when I've been searching on Google for a while first, and found nothing.

Most of the time I Google my problem and get my answer. If I don't, I will make a thread in hopes of getting further clarification / an answer.
