A "frequent suggestions" thread?

I'm unsure if it's needed, but I was thinking maybe have a pinned post with frequently denied suggestions. Things like chatboxes, new forum software, new banner, etc.

What do you guys think? Edit: Here is the rough draft I wrote:

Support Forums is a pretty active forum with an elite staff team. With and active forums, comes an active section of suggestions. There are many suggestions I will outline below that will not work on this forum and should not be suggested. Also known as, frequented suggested posts.

New Plugins
A lot of plugins are suggested for Support Forums to use. Most of them are useless and provide no benefit to the forums. Use your own judgement, think if it'll benefit Support Forums.

New Awards
At the moment, Omniscient is no looking for award suggestions. Though, if you do have a very unique award feel free to suggest.

New Sections
New sections are hardly created. primarily because SF covers a lot of topics. If you want to see a new section on Support Forums, find out if people other than you enjoy it. Once people start posting about it in other sections, a new forum will be considered.

New theme or banner
There are currently no plans for a new theme or banner.

A chatbox
Chatboxes are a waste of server resources. SF would like for you to have your conversations on the forums, via PMs, or through an external chat service like MSN or Aim.

Reports about a Member
Do not suggest action be taken against a member publicly. Simply notify a staff member privately of the situation or report the offending post.

Posts about Staff Activity/New Promotions or Demotions[/align]
Do not posts threads about the activity of the staff. Whether it be high or low. Also, do not suggest a promotion/demotion is in order as it is not the member's decision to make.

Lifting of the rules
We will not remove a rule. If you feel one needs to be modified, let us know. Otherwise, our rules are set in stone.

Adding -rep
Support Forums is a friendly board. We try to keep the community as optimistic as possible, therefore -rep will not be added.

Allowing HF Discussion
The two boards are entirely different. HF discussion is disallowed here and it will stay that way.

Premium/Paid Membership
All members here are equal. There are currently no plans for a paid usergroup of any kind.

This may be a good idea, someone would just have to take the time to set it up. I know search isn't always a reliable source to see whether or not a suggestion has already been made or not. For example people might talk about suggesting a "chatbox" or they can call it a "shoutbox" "chat" "livechat" etc.

But if you don't do that, you get more threads and activity in this area, which can be good for the site.

You would need to go into more detail though and say what plugins, what awards and sections.
Some in the list are not appropriate such as downtime, staff activity and things that already exist?.

Yes, I know I am going to elaborate on each section. This is more of an 'outline' so I can begin. I'll start writing it now and edit the op when I'm done.

The only downtime that people ask here is "OMGWTFHFISOFFLINNE?!?!!?" There is always a message in the header that Omni does on any of his forums. There is no need for a thread, and even if he already does this. Most of what you said isn't really needed, other than what Fragma said.
