Then there really isn't much we can do. Actually there is almost nothing we can do for you. I can type out a little motivational speech telling you that your life is just as valuable as everyone elses, which is true, but that won't do much for you.

One of my friends suffers from depression that is chemically triggered, some people are just wired that way. You need to find the right anti-depressant as soon as possible. I'm saying the right one because some will have negative effects on you, as I'm sure you know. My friend went through 3 or 4 different prescriptions before finding what worked for him since the others just made him fall into even greater depression.

I wish you the best of luck. I really do, you have a real problem you need to get through. Something you have little control over, but try and take control. Find out what medication works for you. You deserve it.

Are you trolling me? I don't care. Your thread may help someone that was too embarrassed to ask.

True words, right there. ^

Some people can't handle things as easily as others can,
you might be someone like that. That's why you should be on medication,
even if you don't think pills will help. I'm not a doctor, but try to do something to relax yourself, and keep your mind busy.

Unless he gets lucky and gets a girl who really cares about him, and tries to help him this would actually make things worse. If he's not in his best state, and he decides to get a girlfriend, things might not go well, and the girl may end up dumping him. Furthermore, he'll just become more depressed from that event, and everything goes downhill.

Maybe the "girlfriend" will take his mind off things.

You didn't read my post did you? If he gets a girlfriend, in his depressed state, that will put all of his focus on her. She'll be wanted all of the time because of it, it's human nature. What happens when she gets tired of that and decides that she doesn't want that. More depression, and no more girlfriend.

That doesn't quite make sense to me.
Are you saying that leaving someone because they're depressed/sad is
"human nature"? That sounds ass-backwards if you ask me, Quite honestly
most creatures have nurturing hardwired into to them to make them WANT
to care for people who are broken/depressed/down/sad/hurt.
I'm not saying people *don't* leave people because of depression, I'm
just saying that I doubt that doing so is hardwired into anyone. If that
were the case do you honestly think we would (For the most part) be
monogamous creatures? That's even how things work in the animal kingdom,
Without that natural ideal we'd all abandon our kids at birth,
and ditch our spouses after sex. That's just not how things work.

You still didn't read what I said. They may try to help for the first little while, but do you not think that while your depressed, that you'll be more clingy than usual. I can guarantee that lots of girls don't want that 100% of the time. Read my post more carefully. People want to help, but not when it comes to relationships. That would make it a one sided effort, and it takes the effort from both people to make a relationship successful. If you have to hold the person up all of the time, that would make it a pretty saddening relationship, and I doubt any girl would put up with it forever.

I read enough.

The only person that wouldn't want to "deal with" someone being depressed,
is if the depressed person doesn't even make sense WHY they're depressed.
Which that's a DEEPLY rooted issue, which no advice can really solve.

Even still, if the person REALLY cared enough, they would stick with them.
leaving someone because they're depressed all the time is selfish, in my opinion.

Why not just take that chance, rather than having no options & doing nothing.

10 Years is a long time to keep your emotions bottled up. You should seek real help off the internet in real life. The internet will depress you more because of little kids thinking there big - neg rep you and flaming. In real life it is different.
