[Opinions?] Welcome Squad [Not Official]
#1
Hey Guys!

I am not going to start this group yet because I don't meet the requirement.

Would you guys join if I made this group?

If so please leave some feedback and if you want to join then please leave your welcome message.

MUST BE:

Code:
Nicely Composed
NOT Offensive
NOT Flamish

I will also check your posts and all when I check it because only people that are nice will be welcome.

Welcome Squad's Goal:

Welcome each newcomer when they post in the Welcome Mat Section.
We will be nice and anti-flamers.
We will wish each newcomer a warm welcome when they join.
Everybody in this group will welcome the newcomers.

Just leave your feedback and the requirements will be:

Code:
150+ Posts [NON-SPAM!]
4+ Rep
Anti-Flame Majority of Posts.
No Warnings
+More to come!

Let's see where this goes!

I supose so but you can't really do anything with the group and it would never have its own sub forum.
All it will do is allow members have a userbar. Tongue
Although it could increase the amount of people who post in intro's.

Exactly. Big Grin

That WILL be our subforum. lol

I am thinking of doing this and maybe a Webmasters Group.

Better get my post count up!

Also, if anyone takes my webmasters group I will steal it and shove it right up their ass.

Just a friendly warning Smile

Thanks for your opinion Smile

I could see this being a success, but would it mean just pasting the same welcome message in every thread? Hopefully it wouldn't come to something like that, but who knows.

I'll come back once I'm closer to reaching each requirement.

Ok.

Also, No. You will have to make a different welcome message every few people.

Besides, it isn't like you will be welcoming 100 people a day or anything ;)

And you have to be creative with your welcomes. Not just be like "Welcome to Support Forums, Want some fries with that?", Mix it up a little Smile

To be completely honest, I think this is a silly idea.

Almost all posts in the Welcome Area are "nicely composed, not flamish, nor offensive".

A webmaster group would be more useful and interesting.

The whole community should be welcoming new members; no need for a group.
Aut viam inveniam aut faciam.

I dont see the need for a new group, but i guess that it wouldn't hurt.

This is a suggestion.

I am wanting your opinions and as for the people that should be welcoming others, most people join forums to get free stuff.

Like in the websites section and all.

This group will be to boost the number of people that do welcome people.

I am going to do the webmasters group though.

This.

If you create a group, then members who aren't part of it will never welcome members.
It's not needed in my opinion.
