I've been admin on couple of forums before. Sadly none lived very long cause we couldnt maintain a steady stream of members.

So yeah the only experience is on how setting stuff up and yeah obviously keeping an eye out over the forum Smile

I've managed a site with the statistics of,

75,000+ Members
536,000+ Threads
2,000,000+ Posts

and other sites also and it's extremely hard since you get tons of PM's and it gets even harder when it comes to other things.

Yeah, I've been administrator on a few really old forums and a friends forum, however they've died down and aren't active any more. Only experience I've had has been banning and a little bit of pruning Smile

A forum with that much content and activity died out?

Were you a driving force behind a site like that? It would be interesting to see what you're up to now!

Managing that member members wasn't so hard for me since I had so many experiences.

The forum was about gaming which was down for at least 2 weeks which caused us to lose members, and activity so we gave up. I can't remember the domain since it was 2 years ago. If I remember I would have renewed it and try again.

Hmm, usually people who have big forums like that don't forget their domain names... And you could have started on newer projects to transfer members. Do you have any other forums active currently?
