Who wants a GFX Tournament?
#1
Who thinks this would be a good idea? Like have 32 contestants, and 5 rounds. I think this would be an excellent idea. Do you?

To be honest, I don't think you will be able to gather 32 contestants from this forum. This might be a better idea if the number of contestants were reduced.

No-one ever battles here. They are either too scared to lose or don't make graphics. Tongue

True, i've seen a forum with over 15 000 threads in each forum topic, and they had a few graphic contests/tournaments on designing things like wine bottle labels, abstract designs, etc.

Good luck getting over 10 members in a contest on SF though, I had trouble getting 2 or 3 dedicated and committed members to actually submit anything after they joined my GFX battle thread. I'm not sure SF is ready for a battle forum section quite yet, it's just a distraction to the activity level here at the moment. People like showcasing more than they do competing.
