That looks very plain, nothing much done here. No wow factor or no focal point. Only a couple fractals added to make the Glowy effect.

Wow i know nothing about graphics so i am not sure if this was easy or not but i have to say that it looks really good from my noob perspective!

Light source, perspective, and creativity are fairly good. Need to work on those purple spots like Untouch had mentioned, they should be a dark blue or a lighter blue depending on what you want it to look like. If you make them lighter, it will draw more attention to that area. So think about the sub focal points, and the main focal point that you want the viewer to look at when you modify this.
