I see all you guys making "guides" to processes that don't really have a "one size fits all" solution, selecting staff is forum specific based on a lot of factors.

Lots of the first registered members will try their best to act the role of a staff member because they realize that the site needs staff at some point too. Which is why you shouldn't choose staff right off the beginning.

You shouldn't have staff apps in the start because then people will join just for that.
