Just remembered my friend's death..
#1
It happened recently and I just remembered it again..it's really sad. We were practicing and he's a catcher. He got hit in the chest and..is dead.
I had the pleasure to play with and against him and he's a real great guy and amazing player...

I'm not looking for sympathy just pay a tribute in this thread.

Wow I remember reading this story online. I'm sorry you lost a friend and teammate I know it's hard man. Just think that he's ina better place and he died doing something he loved. So every time you play, play with him in mind. It will push you to do your best.

"Hit in the chest"?
Do you mean with a bat?
Anyhow, I'm sorry for you and your loss mate.
I know how it feels to lose a friend.
But don't let your head down.
Instead of mourning over ones dead, you should celebrate his life!
Talk about it with friends and hang around with others.
It'll get better.

I remember reading this. At first, I was like hit in the chest ... That was either a baseball bat, or a damn hard throw. Now that I "know" someone who actually suffers from his loss, well I feel bad :l.

Dang, dying from something you love, that's harsh in a way, I'm very sorry for your loss.

Human bodies are so fragile, for every news story you hear of some guy surviving a fall from an airplane or something similar theres a story of someone just tripping on the sidewalk and breaking there neck or something. Maybe luck is actually real.

I was actually thinking the same thing, sometimes I believe it actually is fate or "your time to go" sort of thing when things like this happen. It's sad really.

Death is always hard to deal with. The only real healer is time, relax and think what he'd like you to do.
