I have my personal view about registry cleaner and tweakers and that there is no need for these type of programs for windows 7.

windows 7 is designed to ignore old registry left overs therefore not slowing or having any effect on it that would cause for concern, however, Ccleaner has been designed to work well with windows 7 and this is the only registry cleaner that i recommed using, and if you are someone that install/uninstalls programs/softwares a lot that i would recommend ccleaner but only to be used occasionally and always backup your registry before performing any kind of reg cleaning.

Most of these other registry cleaner are just "snake oil" and do more damage than good, and why do i say this.... well over the years i have repaired so many pc's/laptops that these reg cleaners have wiped out good active registries.

windows 7 has a good amount of built in tools to help clean and protect windows system files without the use of third party programs that will eventually cause you trouble. with the one exception of course "ccleaner" when used responsibly.
