Hi, SF.
Do y'all have a plan as to what you want to do after high school?
Let's hear it
Here's what I'm doing. I'm a junior in high school who is also taking two college classes (English Comp. 2 & World Literature). I took Comp. 1 last semester as well as a history class. I do online high school, which allows for more time for work & college. The local school system pays for 3/4 of the tuition cost of two classes at a local college, which explains why I don't do more. All I have to pay for is 1/4 of my tuition and my books.
Next fall, I'll be taking a 3 hour per day 5 days per week introduction to medicine class at a vocational school in my town. It's completely free for high school students and will teach me about physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and more. It'll also allow me to test for my CNA license, which you must have to acquire your RN license in my state.
I might also take 2 college classes for those two semesters, but trying to balance online high school, a 3hr/day class, and work will be hard enough with an extra 2 classes. We'll have to see.
