im 5'7 and 140 if your taller than me your pretty skinny,
but if you want to gain weight and not be fat drink muscle milk and work out.

At the moment your body is still growing, you may find attempts to put on weight now, will cause you problems in the future.
I was very skinny until the age of 22, before then i could eat anything (and i got into the habit of doing just that) then after 22 I put alot of weight on. More than i wanted.
So let your body finish growing, before you attempt any weight gain programs.

If you are trying to gain muscle along with weight, and are working out ..
Try eating 6-8 egg whites a day, like I do.
Drink 4-5 protein shakes per day, and drink a ton of water.

Your body is made up of water, and the only way to increase mass is to increase levels of water taken in.

If you need to gain weight fast, I suggest a high carb diet of pasta, meat, bread, and milk. At least 2 of those each day. But if you only eat and don't exorcise, you will become obese.

Anything with a lot of calories should do the work, but still need to consider that some person have a natural resistance to that, and won't get fat easily.

If I was you, I wouldnt rush to drop in some weight. You should eat balanced diet, more meals and drink plenty of water and do some push up or weight lifting to help you develop lean muscles.

If you slow down your metabolism, you might affect your body way to insulin fats. This can cause you to add more weights than what you want and eventually you might become fatter or obese.

Eat smaller meals than taking a huge meal. You eat more fequently which gives your stomach time to digest and slow down your metabolism a little bit. You should work out to gain lean mass than just putting on fat. Once you become fat, it will be hard to lose that overweight.

Go to ht egym and work out, after you workout drink some creatine. Then during the day drink 3 protein drinks and you will gain muscle as weight
