Im on hostgator and I used to have a .info domain. Now I want to have a co.cc on the same hosting and want to remove the .info I deleted all the files and set the DNS of the co.cc Now when I type the co.cc domain it gives me a 404 error from hostgator. I know it takes 48 hours but is this the reason? Or is it in some conflict with the old domain?

Change the domain servers on the .info and put those nameservers to the co.cc

ok I parked the .info and the co.cc DNS are set to hostgator but when I enter the URL I go to 404 page saying the site is hosted on hostgator
"ERROR 404 - PAGE NOT FOUND
Oops! Looks like the page you're looking for was moved or never existed.
Make sure you typed the correct URL or followed a valid link."
I have nothing on the hosting, I uploaded a php file just for test and a text file but nothing shows up. any help on that?

why on earth would you want to go from a paid for domain name (even though it may be cheaper then cheap but still paid) for a FREE one?
