Yes they are good guard dogs, be sure to get it around kids when its young so it doesnt attack them.

Seems like the majority (100% as of right now) is leaning toward German Shepherds.

I like both of them equally, although I have never owned a white Shepard. Look is not a big factor of the dog, they are both shepards
