Ok so I just downloaded BT 4, and I loaded the default (The screen were you pick what to load: Default, forensics, text only mode, etc.)

And I typed login, to login into BT, I used username root, and password toor, but it didn't work

Anyone have a clue why?

Try "root" and "root".

If you're wondering why the screen wont load the GUI; you need to use the command "startx" after you log in.

Try the newest backtrack, it should automatically log root in and all you have to enter is "startx".
