Studies have shown the optimum time to work out is after a day of work/school, so 5PM falls right under there.

I go until 6, 6:15. Then either go running or do abs.

Any time that isn't right before your usual bed time when your body will be winding down will work really, if you go to bed around 11 try to work out by 930 or so to avoid working out when your body is "winding down".

0.o I meant that's the ideal time frame, not that he should work out the whole time, doing anything other than cardio for more than an hour or so is counterproductive.
