Oh there is this Arcade Game on XBL Arcade called Soul.
Everytime you pass by a corpse, you get a screamer pop up at you.
And 1/10 times you die, it pops up.
Scares the begeebees outta me!

The very first Resident Evil. It changed the way games were made. Silent Hill was awesome too but RE was first.

Fear is pretty fudged up, it gave me a few goosebumps whilst playing.

Other than that I haven't really played a game that has scared me.
