All together, I was probably twelve, if not younger. My relatives owned a camp ground with a number of private roads within it. That's where I began driving, and did most of my learning. I began driving on public roads since I was legally able to. In New Hampshire that's fifteen years old with a parent (technically anyone over the age of twenty six, but it's usually parents). I obtained my license when I was sixteen so I've been driving on my own for five years now.
Ho, ho, ho! Well, if it isn't fat stinking billy goat Billy Boy in poison!
How art thou, thou globby bottle of cheap, stinking chip oil?
Come and get one in the yarbles, if ya have any yarbles, you eunuch jelly thou!

Barely ever drive, maybe just a couple of times, hopefully I pass the test and get my permit when I turn 16.

My step-dad first started teaching me when I was 9 or 10. He loved driving and wanted to get my bro and I into it. We learned first to drive a manual transmission (he didn't let us drive automatics til we mastered stick).

I've been driving since I was about 14, so 4 years now. I still don't have my drivers license yet, only learners. Too lazy/poor to go get it. :p
