Should i go For xbox360 or Ps3

My buddy said if i go with the xbox 360 slim, that the red ring of death rarely occurs, can someone confirm this?

I can confirm, tbf the old xbox 360 are less likely to red ring as when the xbox 360 first came out.
It was mainly the very first xbox 360 arcade what was prone to red ring as 2 components were too close together and were likely to over heat. Since then they have corrected this. I have an arcade and haven't had red rings once.

I'd go with a PS3 in my opinion. It's been nothing but good to me and I always enjoy watching blueray on it as well. Although I'm not much of a console gamer but PS3 is my console of choice. Good luck on your pick.

Im pretty sure the RROD issue has been mostly fixed, it's nowhere near as common now. I would defiantly go with the Xbox 360, better games, better online play, etc.

Just sucks that it's not free!

PS3, it's a lot better, has everything built in and tons more features then xbox 360. You can also hack it and get any game you want for it. The 360, you have to open it up and mod it. And the games are still on discs. PS3.

get 360,many more games are signature on the 360 and there are way more games for the 360. also live has more active/dedicated players :]
only thing good about ps3 i hear is free live.
