I just read an article about it.
There is actually going to be continued.
But not with Ang and stuff, the story plays 70 years after Ang beats the fire lord.
And it's about the next, young, avatar trying to learn Airbending.
The next avatar is a girl too, and she meets Ang's son. And they go on all kinds of ventures.
