For me to memorize, I have to feel comfortable and focused. Good breakfast helps with memorizing as well as a healthy breakfast at that, not like eggs, bacon and hotdog.

Sounds like a good tutorial,
Though I think that this technique only works for a kind of people. In my case, I would usually just wright out the notes.

Well, what if your exam is not a test, but rather an essay you have to write? How will remembering facts help you with that?

Thanks for this. This is helpful! In college this has always been what I've done most "First, use a pencil or word processor (I prefer the latter because it’s faster) to type, in complete sentences" . Ultimately, writing it like 7 times always works to help memorize things!
