SLASH

I was talking about something like this (the aqua being the zone where I would put the shadow):

thats your opinion I suppose. but I know that if I made this I wouldn't add any shadow there. If you think about it, theres a space below his shins because he is raise up on the tips of his boots as he kneels, the ray of light from that window behind him would ensure that there isn't a whole lot of darkness below him, but just dark enough to suggest that there is an object over top of that place on the ground in the stock. I wouldn't change anything.

Well, I would put those shadows. But as you said, that's my opinion, and that's something that makes graphic design so vast and varied: the way every designer imagines the final product. Big Grin

Thats a very agreeable argument you made there lol. If everything was the same things would get boring, everyone has their unique style, just like the way slash plays guitar compared to others. Me, for example, I do more abstract renders Tongue

I experiment with glow effects a lot, and perspective eye catchers. Neon glow letters are fun to make, and you can be as creative as you want to be. Thats why I like abstract image editing, it allows me to use my imagination to it's full extent because it doesn't have to be the way society wants it to be. Just a bunch of lines and colors to make the overal visual appealing to one's eye. But in the end it's still about opinions. Next time I post a creation like this, I expect you to critisize me about it haha. I'd like to see and consider others outlooks on anything I make to improve and get more ideas.

Right back at you. I barely do any photo manipulations, but I'll post a LP I did some time ago and some other signatures.
