I don't think this will work.
I did this on Win7 a while ago, but when you restart your computer it replaces it with a black square.

There is another tutorial (Or part to this) to make the name invisable.

Also any folder (Really invisable) go to file options > Where it says "read only" check the "hidden" tab and save.

What a great idea, I never thought of doing this.
I usually use Free Hide Folder program for this.
And on Linux I simply place a dot before the file name and it's get hidden automatically

But I may try that tutorial.
Perhaps this is going to work on Linux too - on linux you can change icon on every single file, no matter if it's a document, a folder or an executable file.
