Suggestion: Rule against reposts.

I disagree, we want this to be a support forum not every second post being "search". Sometimes the circumstances are a little different in each request. Maybe a policy to either not reply to double up posts or to provide a relevant link would be better.

What he is talking about is not categorized as "double posting" but more along the lines if someone didn't use the search feature.

I still disagree with this. There is no reason to make this rule, because regardless people are going to come across the site, make an account, post their question. And check it later. Most people are not savvy about how forums work, other than filling in registration information. THey don't understand how to use the forum search feature. You will greatly reduce the amount of people that come here for help by introducing a rule like this. The majority of people that will end up coming here will either just lurk around or will register and make 1 or 2 posts about their question, then leave.
