Rogue Antivirus
#71
The same BSOD?
#72
GAH, I didn't pay attention. I'm so used to it now, I just look away in disappointment. Sad
#73
It's fine. :p The BSODs are caused by the SP1 update. And because you are lucky, it came just in time - with a rogue infection. Are you done with the Avira scan?
#74
Avira scan? I don't recall you asking for one. Would you like one before/after the GMER scan?

Also, I can't disable Avira to run GMER.

The operation could not be completed.

Access denied.

Also, the .bat file failed.

Because you are now in normal mode, I assume. Just close the umbrella icon.

There's no option to. Pinch

Anyways, it's getting really late. I have to get up in six hours for church. We'll continue this another time.

Again, thank you for your help Quintus. I can not imagine how much time and effort you have put in towards helping me. I appreciate it greatly. Hopefully we can conquer this infection. Victoire

Just make you don't connect it to the Internet while you're not monitoring it. You're welcome. Smile
#78
Monitoring what?
#79
The computer. Unless you are in front of it, don't connect it to the Internet.

Sounds good. I'll update this when I return.
