Pokemon Yellow special edition GBC. I got it for my birthday in 2000 I think it was.
I played Pokemon Yellow a few weeks ago. Between Yellow, Red, and Blue, I got all 151 Pokemon legitimately (including Mew).
More often now though, I am playing either PS2 or PS3.

You cannot get Gengar without linking.
Plenty more too. Beedrill, Arbok, Weezing, Magmar. I'm sure there's more.

Yea, there are 4 Pokemon that evolve while trading, and Pokemon that are in Pokemon Blue might not be in Pokemon Yellow. The hardest to get was probably Mew.

Actually, I don't think it's at all possible to get Raichu in Yellow.

No it is not, you have to trade your Pikachu to another Pokemon game, evolve hum with the thunderstone, and trade back. If you try using the thunderstone with your pikachu, he refuses.
Oh, there is another way. Trade the pikachu from Pokemon Yellow to another Pokemon game, trade him back, and then use Thunderstone.

I never bothered with trading, I just played them as they are. I still got my yellow cartridge, one hell of a poketeam I got. Saved at Lorelei battle.

I had different teams of level 100 Pokemon. When I was younger, my brother and I always battled. Always teams of 6 level 100 Pokemon.

It's easy enough to win with just 1. Lvl70 Mewtwo with psychic, tri attack and recover. Can't fail.

No, I could beat his Mewtwo every time, and it was level 100. I had a Mew, not as strong, but it could learn ANY move. I had the stronger Pokemon, better trained. Charizard, Venosaur, Blastoise. They are actually very strong.
