What is a demon? It can be defined in various ways and each person may have a different meaning. Also what harm does it do for a person to believe in the Christian demonic demon from hell? If they are semi-sane and don't hurt other people they can believe whatever they want imho. I would just nod my head at the person.

As for your grandmother, elders can be like that sometimes. My parents just keep my grandmother occupied as much as they can otherwise she will be complaining about anything and everything.
