Hello to Everyone!

I found this forum by searching for a security solutions for my online shops.
I'm using a multishop sytem based on XT:Commerce.

For the last two days one of my domains has been attacked by a small botnet, using a http DDOS blast.
The IPs were mainly from Asia (Russian Federation, Ukraine, etc.).
With a blacklist shop module, I could manage to stop the attack by adding each IP by hand.

This was a lot of work, so now I'm looking for an automatic solution and I wonder, if the Ultimate Web Firewall is the accurate solution for my shop system.

As I couldn't find many informations about the script, I got a few questions and I hope someone got the answers.

1. When I use this script for flood protection, how does it work? I mean, is there any mechanism to provide me from blocking search engines like Google, etc., or even my customers?
2. Can I configure how long an IP will be blocked?
3. How can I verfiy if a blocked IP is really a bad guy?
4. Why can't I find a download button on http://sourceforge.net ?
5. Why is there so little information about this script on the web?

Hope my english isn't to bad, because as you can see by looking at my username, I'm from Germany ;-)

Project CANCELED

I think this has been canned.
Personally i never quite understood how this could possibly work.
To use php to block problems that should be blocked at apache level.
Dunno perhaps it does work but it does appear to be canned.
Me personally, i will never put software i am unsure of on my servers. Its just to dangerous.
