I want a new group!

When I thought of it I said "that would work great," but soon realized one of the members whose actions I based the group's mission around was a member named Ace -_-

After about 30 minutes of extra brainstorming I concluded it was the best name, so used it regardless.

It's a good name. Will do nicely, I believe. Smile

I'm sure it's already posted somewhere in here but I'm just restating it regardless: you need 500 posts, 10 members interested (count me in!) and the group to be approved by Omni.
But I'm sure you'll get there in no time. Big Grin

I'm not looking to make a group. I'm just looking for ideas.

A group you can join if your posts are high quality. Make it a "rare" group and only put the most dedicated members in it.

That might encourage some better quality posting.

?

I love that idea! The name shouldn't be "HQP Group" though. Roflmao
A nickel ain't worth a dime anymore.

A writers group could publish articles which can have their own SF page. For example, a link at the top of Support Forums to an 'Articles' page containing work from the SF Writers would be really great. It wouldn't just be a boring generic group, it would have an importance.

How's this?

It's not bad but it confines people to the creative writing section.

What about a general discussion group?

Kind of goes against what I've been saying. I want it to have an importance to SF. General discussion is all around us.

I think that we need a gaming group or a webmaster group, both would be a great addition in my opinion.
