A well written and a great thread layout, what would you want more? By the way, I advise you to do what Quintus said and add McAffe Smile

Also this is for if you dont use ebay, kriegslist, and amazon.com. Say you want to buy a ps3 for whatever price and want to make sure that its not a scam you shuold do these steps...

First: Go to www.google.com, type the site name and after you type the site name put 'is a scam', 'is a fake site'
'ps3cheap.com scam', 'ps3cheap.com fake'
example: ps3cheap.com is a fake site,ps3cheap.com is a scam,ps3cheap scam, ps3cheap fake.

Second: Go to http://www.mywot.com/ after you go to there look at the top right and it should say 'www.example.com' So put in the site name
example: ps3cheap.com and it will bring you results:
http://www.mywot.com/en/scorecard/ps3cheap.com

Also you can use these sites:

http://www.scam.com/

Hope this helps with online purchases and finding scams.

Thanks for giving your steps.
Here i wish to add another way to check whether a site which you are going to choose is legit or not .
1.Use Whois lookup tool like http://www.whoisxy.com/ to check the whois information.Because legitimate company properly update whois database.
2.Then check whether domain owner contact details and E-mail address is currently active or not.
3.Finally take some reviews about that company using Scamadviser.com,Webutation.net.
I am sure above the steps are very useful to check any company is legit or scam. Then you can do the business without having any problem.I hope it will be very useful to you.

I think the most important thing is common sense if a deal is too good to be true, it most likely isn't real
