How to sleep when not tired?
#21
I suggest doing more strenuous activities throughout the day or near bed time. I suggest looking at your intake and see if your eating any high carb foods.

Oh, I forgot a pretty interesting option. Go outside just before sunset (it's usually listed on The Weather Network) and look at the sky, but make sure you keep your eyes off the sun! I read that when you go outside and notice that the sun is setting, your bodies natural mechanics react and release a chemical that makes you tired.

I don't recommend taking things to make you fall asleep, they probably aren't very healthy. Just exercise for a bit during the day.

Here's another tip I recently remembered: Using the computer for an hour or more before you go sleep leaves your mind racing and you'll have troubles sleeping. If you get off early and just watch TV or read a book, you'll have a much easier time getting knocked out at night. Big Grin

i would stay active all day, job, cut grass, clean house, work, whatever. then i am pretty sure you will be ready for bed at the end of a long day. Smile
