See now I got lucky. I was poaching around my usual PC part vendors sites and got a notification that they were selling there old stock of 6950's for £115.99. Now I thought, damn. That's impressive. So I bought it, as you do.
It comes and not only is it a 6950, however It's a 6950 reference card, thereby meaning that with a little BIOS tweek, It's now a fully fledged 6970. How's that for 50% off.
