Hard to say really mate.
I think its easy to say "my upbringing is the cause of whatever" but i have never accepted that and my life reflects this.
However i have brothers who are not quite the same in there attitude. And i do feel there life suffers from this fact.
Not sure. I do think however its certainly easier to slip down a similar path when there is some history there.
