No, it would be Xbox on the computer, not sure about Live but i'm pretty sure that they must have it if you're getting Xbox 360 features on Win8.

You read it right, but it's not going to affect anything. (no need to re-buy any games)

What i'm saying is that it's just an extra feature.

I can already kind of do that through emulation since I have a bluray/DVD drive lol. Not quite 100% framerate though.

Because if you have access to a computer with Xbox360 then you can switch back and forth between emails, websites, etc... and the game itself much easier. They had Live TV capabilities on Vista built in, this is just one more thing they decided that I computer must have. I personally would have thought that they would start out with PS3 first though.
